. Do live or work in a building with a roof like this or may be an historic or listed property? When was it last checked. anything over two storeys is usually difficult to access. Roof issues can be some of the most expensive to fix if left too late as water ingress will cause damage throughout often causing issues with electrics, plastering , woodwork and furnishings.
It is not just the roof either. Checks need to be made for blocked gutters and downspouts, loose facia or cracked brickwork. Older bricks are prone to the water proof glaze defacing leaving the brick porous which can lead to penetrating damp.
In storms loose or damaged roof slates can cause damage to the building and items near by such as cars or give a person underneath a very sore head or worse.
