Video of A quarry site

Video fly-through of a large quarry and former munitions site we surveyed in 2D and 3D for mapping prior to the redevelopment by the owners. This fun video came from a small part of the site and was made to show the quality and detail of what can be created.

The flight route in the video was created in post-production. All of the images used were created by the drone flying around 60m above the ground with the camera facing down.

This fly-through demonstrates a 3D interactive model that was prepared for builders to accurately reconstruct a roof off site to reduce time on site and time scaffolding would be needed. The final model was accurate to less than 1cm using RTK technology.
